Goals and Objectives

CT-Angiography is a new technology to assess Coronary Artery Disease. The New 64 slice CT-Angio has proven to have excellent accuracy for detecting coronary stenosis. As a non-invasive procedure, it might be the test of choice in place of Cardiac Catheterization. However it’s use together with Nuclear Cardiology studies are yet to be understood

1. Describe the indications for Cardiac CT-Angiography and for Calcium scoring
2. When should we ask for a Nuclear scan? A CT scan?
3. How does cardiac CT work?
4. How accurate is cardiac CT?
5. Pitfalls in cardiac CT imaging
6. Selected cardiac CT angiography cases.
